This is one of a series of images I took in George With Park , in Waterloo , Iowa . It was in early spring , so the inlet part of the river
pictured was still frozen , with the exception of a thin layer of water on
the surface . This gave the effect of full reflection off of the liquid water ,
and also a rather foggy look from the ice beneath the surface .
